Published October 20, 2012 by April Fox

Silver Machine’s soundtrack to the classic Night of the Living Dead has arrived.

For all of you who have been eagerly anticipating the release of Silver Machine’s new soundtrack to the classic Night of the Living Dead (which they’ve also restored to the highest quality ever on DVD), details are here, in a post I wrote for our local Asheville blog. If you’re into zombies, space rock, psychedelic rock, or just great film and music, check it out. (God, I sound like a fucking commercial. Sorry.) Anyway it’s awesome. Dig it. Even if you’re not local, you can order the CD and DVD from their web site,

It’s a Bird, It’s a Plane, It’s… Silver Machine!

For the past several months, I’ve been a rock star widow. My beau has spent countless hours in the studio, recording and re-recording tracks for his new album with his band, Silver Machine, and it’s finally finished. It isn’t news that I’m kind of picky about my music. I couldn’t be with a guy in a shitty band, and this isn’t groupie-fan-wife love here. I met the guy after I was already a huge fan of Silver Machine; I liked them before he was in it, actually. So trust me when I say that the new album, Symmetry, will absolutely melt your face. They’re a psychedelic trip that brings to mind early Pink Floyd, but with a distinct 22nd century vibe. I wrote up their story for the Ask Asheville blog-to read it, watch their brilliant and hilarious video, and find out more about these crazy cosmonauts, click here. Silver Machine-Anthony Dorion, Chris Tanfield and Matthew Westerman-are going to blow the roof off the atmosphere [it does too make sense] with this one. History is about to change, folks. Be there.
